Is there a chance of an Xbox 360 port

Now that the game has been released, Is there a chance of it being put on the Xbox live arcade like Sam & Max and Wallace & Gromit were. I hope so. I would love to play this game with some achievements.
If it does, hopefully it is set up like Sam & Max as opposed to Wallace & Gromit.

What do you think?

I'd love to see it on the 360. As long as they ditched the mouse cursor and made it so the analog stick moved Guybrush.

The last few iterations of games built using the Tell-Tale-Tool (W&G and TOMI) already support the Xbox360 controller on the PC, using the left analog stick for movement, D-pad for menu selections, A/B/X/Y for various actions and items menus, and even the Start and Back buttons for various menu controls, without any extra configuration.

The only thing a user on the PC has to do is map the right analog stick to control the mouse cursor with a tool like Xpadder (or your tool of choice), if you feel the need to do so.

    It's pretty nifty.

On the 360 Sam & Max (and possibly W&G I dont remeber) use a mouse arrow. You move that where you want it to go, and press A to preform the action. It got very annoying, very quickly.

Which is why the next port they do for the 360, i'd like the arrow to be ditched. In favor of just using the analog to move. Yes ive thought about it enough so have all the buttons mapped out in my head for how I want it. lol

W&G on PC with the Xbox360 controller used the left analog stick for movement, no cursor needed :)

EDIT: I was just pleasantly surprised that it did that stuff automagically.

Lucky for you and other PC users then. All be it I could do that myself as I own the season on Steam but I prefer it on the 360 for achievements. :)

Left stick to move Guybrush and right stick to move the cursor definately seems like the most logical control scheme for TMI with a gamepad.

Guys, you don't have to worry about moving a cursour to move Guybrush like in S&M since you already cannot do this in either the PC or Wii ports. It's logical to assume that's already long been done away with. The suggestion Bagge made above is probably the most accurate assumption of what it'd be like.

Honestly, why would we have to move a cursour to move Guybrush on the Xbox version when it's already impossible to do so? (Need I remind everyone again that the click & drag method is not the default method of moving Guybrush?)

Also, while click and drag is a usable alternative to the keyboard controls on the PC, it'd be absolutely stupid to map that control scheme to a gamepad.

True, true. Though I dont know what is more annoying having to move a cursor on the Xbox or using the drag method lol. I still say pointnclick should be brought back on the pc!

But luckly we can use a keyboard on TMI so ive been using that.

I really have no idea what I was trying to say here. Redacted.

I think I will be happy just as long as it is ported

Easy. Left analog stick for movement, right for a cursor.
And I think I'd only get it if it was in a 'season' pack like Sam & Max is, opposed to the single episodes like W&G.

I've heard from a fairly reliable source that this is the direction they will be going with future Xbox 360 ports.

This makes my day! Thankyou kind sir, unless your 'fairly reliable source' is a monkey.
