First time such words were uttered? *Chapter 5 Spoilers*
Not a huge deal or that offensive a word but is Elaine calling LeChuck a bastard the first time a curse word has been used in the Monkey Island series? When I heard it I thought to myself that the series isn't one for swear words and wondered if it was the first time.

I didn't catch it. Or rather, I didn't care when she said it, because swearing is so fucking ingrained into modern language that it hardly has any real power.
Not to say I don't use it myself more often than I should.
then it clearly did its job,
sadly, i missed it, when the fuck was it, i wanna bollocksing know!
stupid video games make me swear my tits off!
You might be right actually. Can anyone confirm?
I disagree with that. But, I do see your point. I think the OP was simply surprised at the more adult dialogue in this installment. I kinda was, too, at first.
no she called him scumm and stuff but not a barsterd
Actually, I'm pretty sure he called Ozzie a triple timing bastitch, not bastard. I checked the subtitles once, and I'm pretty sure that's what it read.
I think I'll just open a thread about verbs then...
I know, right?! So many verbs, Telltale should be ashamed!
I noticed that on my recent playthrough, and hoped beyond all hope that it was intended as a Johnny Dangerously reference.
