I'd like to join the translation team

I am from China, I think this game will bring most of users from asia, if you translate it into Chinese. Actually, I am a more than a gamer, but a translator, I have translated many MMORPG games.

I got noticed from announcement section. but I am not sure when you will recruit translators?

I am happy to join your team:):)

I could translate it into Romanian, but our language wouldn't be able to capture the jokes so well. There is a lot of wordplay that can't be translated.
Well, in case you're interested :p

Well, the German localisations of the 2 first games was awesome. But it haven't been just translations, it have been adaptations. The jokes which couldn't be translated were replaced by adequate jokes. In German MI3 the song was cut out of the game because the translators gave up, though some lines were translated. Many lines in the 1st season haven't been translated into German and are also cut out of the game, though here I don't know if Jowood just wanted to save money on voice actors.

I suppose it was some centralized decision by LEC, as this change concerns all dubbed versions of CMI (French, Spanish, Italian etc.).

Still, the rest of the translation was quite good. Though I didn't like the break to Bobo Schneider's translation of Parts 1 & 2: in CMI, they suddenly started translating names. And in EMI, they suddenly started translating the game's title.

I could totally help with the Romanian too..I'm a translator as well, although I've never done an adventure game before.

..just throwing that out there. :D

Anyways, Telltale wouldn't do such a thing like allowing unauthorized or even just non-professional translators. Sadly, but that's how business is done. :(
