Voodoo Lady recognised by other characters

Has anyone Noticed that the Voodoo Lady is a fully recognised by other characters in Tales, yet in the other games she doesnt have any interaction with any of the other characters in the other games and that its only Guybrush that only talks to her...and in the other game nobody mentions her name

Your memory is failing you. Multiple characters in past Monkey Island games have acknowledged the existence of the Voodoo Lady. Heck, in LeChuck's Revenge Wally sends Guybrush to pick up his love bomb from her, and Largo mentions that the Voodoo Lady claims to have killed LeChuck before Guybrush pulls out the animated beard. There are probably several other examples, but off the top of my head Elaine mentions her in EMI as well.

And in Monkey 4 Elaine tells Guybrush to ask the Voodo Lady about the Ultimate Insult.
(Guess she wasnt so mad with her at that time)

What bugs me is that we never physically see these characters interact as far as I recall. I was always left with the impression guybrush may have mentioned the voodoo lady in his grand tales of defeating lechuck but never formally introduced Elaine to her.

Probably they all met between Escape and Tales.

I thought it would have been an interesting scene with Elaine meeting her in the final chapter, asking her if there was any chance to bring Guybrush back to life.

I remember Elaine mentioned the Voodoo Lady in EMI, thus knew of her existence, but up to now it still seems like she has had only little to do with her. Which is why I found her entirely negative attitude towards her in Tales a little strange. Unless, maybe, she had a chance to read that secret journal and realized that the Voodoo Lady deliberately put Guybrush into perils as such instead of having had the basic aim to help him throughout his adventures.

actually, i dont know if this classes as some sort of interaction, but in Tales we did see both Human Lechuck and Voodoo lady in Jail cells next to each other, ok there probably wasnt a interaction cause of the walls between them, but they still was in the same scene together....also you do see Desinge visit the voodoo lady

She has a buisness on those islands - and all this Voodoo stuff is probably quite popular, so many people go to visit her for fortune telling \ curse lifting services.
And as for Elaine, Voodoo Lady was one of her citizens while she was the Govenor of Tri-Island Area (they both lived on Melee and Plunder for some time), so probably they met at some point.

Elaine probably annoyed her with her "door to door quest for votes" in EMI.
