Fast forward to 2:38 to see the relevant part.

I really missed something of that style in ToMI. It was what made CoMI really classic for me. =)

You didn't click the Manatee in Episode 2, did you? :D

Or examine Jacques when he was in your inventory (although I've said it before, that was the worst delivered Dom's line on ToMI! :D)

It's amazing how much Doms voice has grown since then.

Yeah. And come to think of it, I bet he never was the best singer after all. :)

I just think that sometimes, when Guybrush is utterly crushed inside, like when Morgan was murdered or when he once again found himself at Monkey Island in EfMI, he should interpret a heartbreaking ballad. :D

By the way, there's an mp3 available of A Pirate I Was Meant to Be, without incoherent breaks in it, in some Monkey Island fan sites.

I think Dominic can actually sing, and has to try to sound bad when playing Guybrush trying to sing.

I didn't realise it, but his voice is deeper now. I didn't think he sounded any older at first, but after hearing this you can kind of tell :p

It's the perfect excuse. You get up on stage, sing really badly (out of a true lack of skill), get boo'd and say "i'm being ironic... goll" and everyone will be like "oh snap" and kill themselves.
