Help with Escape

I rented Escape from monkey Island for PS2, and I think I encountered a major problem. I used the paintbrush to jam the lua bar's conveyer system, I screwed up and the manager fixed everything before I could do anything, and now I have no clue on how to get another paintbrush, I tried substituting with chopsticks but they broke. Is there anyway to get another paintbrush/jam the controls, or do I have to reset my file.

    Look on the table where you sit.

    It should be on the bench/table/eating platform in front of the seat you were sitting on. Are you sure you've searched thoroughly? If it's still not there, try going back to Meathook's place and seeing if you can find and take another from the bucket.

    it should be right there next to the coveyer belt thing on the floor I think
