Tmi dvd
I'm sure this had been asked before but i couldn't find a thread with it (not saying much i you know how i look for things). I was just wondering whether telltale would release TMI on a dvd for commercial sale i.e physical copy at various gaming stores, or whether it was just released via download. I ask as i am always quite reluctant to buy things over the internet if i just download it. I prefer to have a disc on my shelf next to my other disc collecting dust just in case.

Less simple answer: No. Not yet.
Answer: No. Not yet. Give it a couple more months yet.
Actually, you are still eligible for the DVD as long as you've bought it from Telltale. Its the limited edition Steve Purcell hand-painted cover that he would miss out on.
Yeah, I guess so. But you still have to pay shipping costs (only a fraction of the purchase price). Just be sure to get your shipping address right when ordering it, I'm pretty sure you're capable with that .
True. It says here: http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14643 that you can change your shipping address when you order your free DVD copy.
edit: danke schon? .... kein problem, es war mir ein vergnügen!!
thats not a nightmare!
He didn't post the ending. Where you go to click the purchase button but it isn't there.
NO THAT BE THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
MHUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Also noticed your left sock got missing? MHUAHAHAHA)
WHEN WILL THIS NIGHTMARE END????:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Oh, it's just beginning. Next there's going to be porcelain. Porcelain everywhere.
not even close
That has got to be the most ridiculous amount of sarcasm I have ever read. If you're serious, then I'm Guybrush Threepwood.
*Gasp*, the Guybrush Threepwood! On our forums! Oh, what a delight!
Nice to meet you Guybrush, Love your work.
Guybrush Threepwood? That’s the most ridiculous name I’ve ever heard!
Well, what's your name? And don't be tellin me it's Squinky, or Mancomb Seepgood!
Friends call me Ted.
Ted's red.
Bob
Production is delayed indefinate.
i think i wait the announcement first when it's already released, i just then purchase the copy on their site that on that day
If you bought the season from Telltale, then you'll be able to order the DVD for just the cost of shipping when it's available.
What's in the store right now are the downloadable episodes, which you can buy now, download now, and play now.

then i wait for the dvd to be released, will it be available also on retail computer/gaming shops? or only at telltale sites only?
No announcement has been made about the game being released to retailers, so as of right now it will only be available through the Telltale store.
oh okay. thanks a lot Thepsis for the info
Then again I ordered both Sam & Max seasons DVD's directly from TTG, because thanks to the exchange rate between Euro and Dollar it was actually cheper to order games from California than from my home city (I don't go to gamestores these days, but I order everything to home, because for some odd reason on-line stores often have wider selection of adventure games, while stores on the mall mostly just have console games etc.).
And while some may hesitate to buy downloadable version I don't see any downsides in Tales deal which gives both direct download and DVD (you only have to pay the cost of shipping once it is available). I pre-ordered Tales and now I have already completed the game and I plan to replay it when I get my collector's DVD
Explain why this is. I don't understand the need for apprehension when downloading TTG's games from the net.
