How did Jim Ward end up replaced?

I mean, what actually happened? Did he quit? I'm glad we have a new Lucasarts pres, don't get me wrong, Jim Ward was running it into the ground, but I would just like t know what actually happened.

    I read that as Jim Walls, and immediately thought "yes, why did he quit Sierra, the Police Quest series was fantastic until he left".

    Wwwooaahh... I always thought that was some other Jim Ward until I clicked on the "more about my career" thing... wow.

    It explains a lot, really. Now we know that the reason LucasArts went downhill wasn't just because he was an idiot, but because he was secretly a sith demon politician.

    Why is there a post on mixnmojo.com about something happening when he was still alive? Is Jim Ward dead?

    Nah, that was just me being extremely lame. It was a very lazy crack at him being yesteryear's news.
