Regular vs. Deluxe

I pre-ordered Tales of Monkey Island and I just the e-mail asking if I wanted the Season DVD. To my surprise, I saw that the Deluxe Version was also available. Since I pre-ordered, I am aware that if I get the regular version, I will get the limited edition cover art by Steve Purcell. Will I get the same cover art if I order the deluxe edition?

    Yes, is comes with the deluxe edition whatever. So anyone who didnt pre-order is able to get it too.

    But people who did pre-order and gets the deluxe edition only gets one slipcover, not two.

    Thanks. Also, it says that it will ship in Spring 2010. When in the Spring will it ship out?

    From what I've been hearing, some point in April, but I haven't noticed any official word on that.

    I just wish the deluxe edition came with a Talking Pyrite Pirate.

    Though it would be nice, it would be far too difficult to have it designed, multiple copies made and have it shipped to all who want one. I mean, I'd love to have a screaming narwhal with the deluxe edition, but it's not gonna happen :D.

    I know, a pyrite parrot is a little more plausible and possible than an entire ship.

    I think just a not-talking Pyrite Parrosquito would be awesome, but I'm not the biggest Pyrite Parrot fan and I'm extremely pleased with what I'm getting.

    I'm quite sure I remember seeing it in red print underneath the item when it was in my shopping cart. Don't hold me to it though, I could be mistaken.

    I don't think it was on the forums. I just did a search for April and came up with nothing with a day on except discussion about Sam and Max season 3 and us talking about April 10 in this thread.

    I remember the same date, April 10. Something about when it says "back-order", then it said "this item will be shipped on April 10".

    It would be weird that we both imagined the same date.

    Just completed my order.

    I'm building up a collection of Monkey Island goods, there is still more I need to get yet.

    I'm looking forward to when I receive my order.

    Bought deluxe to build the pricetag up to free shipping. : )

    If it ever did, it doesn't say that now. It says Spring 2010 just like the DVD.

    Maybe they wrote "April 10" as in "April 2010", like you would say "April 98" for "April 1998", then realised it was confusing and replaced "10" with "2010"?

    I remember reading April somewhere aswell, and i only ordered Sam&Max/TMI: Deluxe. Maybe i was reading the S&M release date...

    No, it's available for everyone. The only difference between pre-orderers and everyone else is that if you didn't pre-order, you can only get the Purcell slip cover with the Deluxe Edition, but if you did, you get it with either of them.
