Hmm, well.... they look more for show, rather than actual use. I wonder if any of those could sustain 120lbs across a cable, or more, depending upon who uses it.
Okay, so new goal, not just make a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle, but make one that is fully functional and can hold me on 10 trips across a cable.

I suppose I would have to try it on a zip wire, but finding a place to attach that wire to is going to be difficult. Something over water would be the most authentic, and the least dangerous. No more than 20 feet above the water, preferably. I'm a great swimmer, but not a cliff diver, nor will ever be.
Hmm, I do see that the images from MI tend to have the pulley sort of under the chicken, traditionally. But I think the chicken would prefer a belt (and it's more practical that way).

I feel like finding the cable will be the hard part.

Not yet, I need to find some free time first. I'll probably put it together at the end of the summer, after I finish my current project.
I'm also looking for a way to rig up a zip wire, in a workable location.
this seems like an Interesting Monkey Island project, what project are you doing now?
and dont you have a zip wire thing in your park?, maybe they have them also at a rock climbing ranch?
