Where does Max store his gun?

    Max's voice sounds fantastic.

Is it just me or is the new guy better(and funnier) ?
  • edited December 2006
I don't hear enough of a difference to make a call like that.

Well, I will. So far (and I realize it's not fair to say yet) I like this Max voice better. No offense, but this guy just seems to have the voice that the other guy was straining to get to. You know what I mean?

I think this unexpected re-casting will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. They may have found a voice actor even more suited to Max than the other guy, or possibly even Nick Jameson. What remains to be seen is his delivery and timing.

That's none of your damn business, Sam! ;)

numble with the setup, and Erwin spikes for the point!

Egads, that was all sorts of good. So good, I had to change my avatar. I don't know if Max v.5 is better, but he's at least as good as Max v.4.

    Beautiful, just beautiful.

um... I hope Sam was okay... Max shot Sam somewhere in that clip. I hope that round Max fired was a blank...

I've been blipping back and forth between Culture Shock and Situation: Comedy for various video capturing needs in the last couple weeks, and I really can't tell the difference, so I guess I like them both the same. :)

Glad you guys are liking the sneak peek.

    This was great! Tally-ho, fool!

I have to agree, the new Max is better. He's got that slightly maniacal quality that was lacking in the game.
And I almost hate to admit this, but Bosco cracks me up somewhat more than Max does.

    Spin-off game, spin-off game!

Oh man, I needed a fix of Sam and Max to cheer me up from all the studying from finals. Lo and behold, a new clip!

    You guys are the best.

Wow... this was a well made sneak peek. I am more hyped up for ep 2 than I was for ep 1... and I had been waiting for ep 1 since the original S&M game!

Already looks to be a great storyline, writing, gags, and voice acting. Can't wait to play it, boys! (And girls)

I posted this in the machinima short thread by accident. Sorry!

Sorry, I got antsy, I had free time, the rest is alphanumeric history.

Sam & Max - Situation: Comedy
    Trailer Trainscript
    TITLE CARD: NEXT TIME ON...
    TITLE CARD: SAM & MAX

    [Phone ring]
    Max: I got it!
[Sound of acorn hitting a lagomorph skull]

    Sam: We're on our way.

Sam: You will never guess which unduly famous TV personality made the Most Wanted Criminals list this week.

Myra(?): Sam & Max, you're talented hot new celebrities who've taken the entertainment world by storm.

Max: Alright! ...what do we do?

Sam: We've got to drive over to the station right away. Or at our earliest convenience.

Director: We're no longer holding the auditions for Animal Cops With Crippling Mental Disabilities and a Lust for Dance.

Sam: Let's get in there and liberate her literally captive audience.

Max: Sam, forget the hostages, there's somebody famous!

    Hugh: Hi, I'm Hugh Bliss!

Max: If we can pass one lousy audition, sitcom stardom will finally be ours!

Sam: Rocketing to fame for the most insubstantial of reasons. That truly is the American dream.

Max: Let's hurry Sam, we've only have 14 minutes and 55 seconds of fame left!

    [gunshot]
    Director: [laughs]

    Max: I crack Sam up.

Sam: Well, let's find this Myra character and smack some good-old fashioned sense into her.
Max: Just so long as there's smacking involved!

Sam: Let's take it down like ducks in a gut*!

    TITLE CARD: [Release date info]

    Bosco: Tally Ho, Foo'!
*not sure about this one, Gut? Gutter? Gun?

    "Hi, I'm Hugh Bliss!"

    Wow.
I count 3 layers of pun in that name.
    Hugh = Hue
    Bliss = happiness
    Hugh Bliss = "hubris"

I thought "Brady Culture" was a clever name, but this is brilliant.

I don't know where that come from, but I loved it! The moustache and the bowler hat and the monocle... Too funny!
