What the ship?

Hey, I was just about to order my Monkey Island DVD, which is free with shipping. As I recall, when I got my two Sam and Max games and SBCG4AP, the amount came out to about $8. Now is costs $16.75 and up? Did your shipping policy change? Or it seems there's some sort of problem with the shipping calculator, according to this forum.

Unfortunately if you look at everyone's posts the shipping prices for overseas is now at US$20 by their warehouse.. It's a rip I know.

I'm not even overseas! I'm Canadian!

Canada is the same price as International.

    For some reason or another...

I believe that Canada and Mexico are both deemed to be overseas for American purposes. Possibly somebody's dug a trench and filled it with seawater. Otherwise Dubya wasn't talking rubbish when he said that US imports were coming from overseas more often than not, and I wouldn't want to disillusion all those journalists.

I just caught this too. Dang - Telltale loses another Canadian customer. I can't justify purchases when the shipping is more than any item in my shopping cart.

It even applies to residents of Canadia? Really? Wow!

Any time a postal item crosses an international border from the US, it costs more to mail it. Doesn't matter if that border is land or sea, unfortunately.
