game breaking bug very early on

In the penal zone right after the tutorial on my 1st gen macbook pro. So you know, the title sequence, It freezes on a shot of Sams face and Max's furry little behind. I reduced the graphics down to three and quit every other program I had, as this is what I do for all games on this thing, and it still froze, anyone having this problem on a newer computer?

    Lots of Mac-users have reported this crash, so it definitely has to be some issue in the Mac-version of 301.

    well then, it is a good thing I didn't get rid of crossover.

    This happened to me on my first go, but after reducing the screen resolution to improve performance, it worked second time.

    So I might do it, what did you reduce it to?

    EDIT: Nevermind, I reduced it but it still crashed, I hope it is fixed soon, I have wanted to play this for months

    Same bug. Argh!
    So... How do I know when a patch has come out?

    The TTG folks post about it here, and then you have to re-download the updated episode.

    At least that's how it worked for ToMI/W&G.
