Steam Confusion

I preordered Sam & Max Season 3 when it was announced from telltale. I have not had a chance to install it yet, but saw a post on facebook from telltale saying I could get TF2 items. I clicked the link and got a code for the steam items. However episode 301 is showing up in my steam games list also. Should I install the copy I downloaded from telltale or the steam one? Are we getting the game through steam even though I purchased from Telltale?

    Yeah, it was the only way they could give us the TF2 items. So feel free to install it from either where you like it most.

    Don't expect episodes 2-5 to appear on Steam though...

    Ahh ok. I wasn't sure if I did something wrong lol. I'll just use the telltale version.
