Observation about Secret of MI: Special Edition

I just finished playing the Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, and I noticed something. The ghost with the sword in his head that Guybrush kills in the last part of the game talks a lot like all of the snooty rich characters on Family Guy. Are they voiced by the same actor or is it just a coincidence?
