Muzzled Balloon Bird Seed Glitch

In the last chapter of Episode 3 (Muzzled), I know I need to throw bird seed at Muzzle in order to get him to drop the chest, but the bird seed has disappeared from my inventory! I have no previous saves to go back to and a restart did not fix the problem. Is this a known error?

    I have the same problem but have traced it to inside the Muzzler when the bird seed is used to disarm the security chicken, it is there in inventory before and then disappears - an earler install on my old laptop didn't have this problem but it is persistent now. Any ideas anyone or do I:mad: need to re-download and install again?
