So it is. I didn't go that far up, I just clicked the Harry Potter... supposedly... link.

Yeah, the video is just horrible, especially the Sailor Moon and Farily OddParents ones.

I don't wanna click it cos Im a huge Sailor Moon fan and don't want somthing ruining it.

    But, it's a cut version.

I have it on endless repeat.

    Also, one-time repost:
I don't really know how to present this, but the censored(like last time) sequel to that horrible fanfic video I was a part of a few months ago: http://ringmasterj5.blip.tv/file/5059358/
Yeah, me too. There's a certain fanfiction my brain has done the same thing for.

Finally, one more fic to link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6757351/1/Phoenixs_Turnabout

    That's enough fanfiction for now.

The website via which I originally found that amazing work of fan fiction glory was toplessrobot.com, an all-things-nerdy sort of website. They do Fan Fiction Friday every week wherein they post something.. awful.
  • edited April 2011
Also, they removed my incredibly profane post from the "Conversation with Pictures" thread. If it weren't for the Portal 2 ending theme on infinite loop, I'd be so pissed. I bet it's Guruguru's fault. He is fast establishing himself as my new arch nemesis.

Nooooo! That was the best comeback on that thread! I should know, since I found it!

I read FFF every week. That recent My Little Pony story was especially disturbing, topped again by this week's Heroes story.

I'm extremely surprised. I did think you'd be harsher.

Though, to be fair, we both knew that picture's hours were numbered from the moment it was posted.

Except the end-song was complete and utter garbage, one of many disappointments the game had.

    Great =/= Disappointing.

When you expect the return of Jesus himself and you recieve a Signed Picasso, it's still extremely disappointing.

I didn't really listen to the dialogue at the end of the game since I was busy talking to Dashing at the same time.

Your tone indicates that you believe that Picasso wasn't garbage, yet this is what you called the glorious end song.

    INCONSISTENT!

I have no frame of reference, so i'm neither going to agree or differ with you two.

I guess that makes this post completely and utterly pointless.

    I'll shut up now.

I get the arguement you're making here, but I find myself compelled to play Devil's advocate and say that this is a faulty metaphor. I'm relatively certain that there are a number of people in the world who would be more pleased with the signed Picasso.

What is matter, does it affect how things appear?
Or are our brains a larger influence? What is matter, do we see things as they are? I'm just curious, haven't found the right words to ask this question yet, but maybe some one can help me. Our brains, ec etc, see things a certain way. What is matter? Does matter affect how things appear? Does matter have a true appearance?

Considering appearance is just light reaching our eyes, no. Matter has no defined appearance. It's all about how light reflects off an object.

Ok, maybe but I can still feel 4 sides to a cube in the dark. Isn't the physical shape of something determined by it's physical state of matter? Isn't the appearance of something determined by its physical state of matter? Or are we suggesting that things may not be as they appear to our senses?

I'm feeling the sides of the cube the light reflects off of..

We live inside of the simple physical universe, there's much more complicated theories of universe. But this question seems to center in our physical universe. Can anyone offer insights to me?

My faith in moderators is now restored! However, my faith in the general community...not so much.

I apologize to you then, Comrade Guruguru. While I might not be as suspicious of mods anymore, I now have a far more powerful loathing of the common, morally uptight individual.

doodo! doesn't creep me out in the slightest. He's a great guy, just misunderstood by people sometimes.

Also, it's nice to see you've got a avatar now doodo! :)

Yes. But that doesn't stop me from doing it. Plus, this is about a 12 point size font.

Also, my friend 'borrowed' my copy of I Am America and still hasn't returned it yet.

That looks really awesome. And, as a long time Crichton fan, I must add that:

I had a lot of eye problems as a young one, not too serious and they're all sorted out now. But I remember getting crippling headaches if I read for more than 15 minutes or so. It's always good to bull on regardless though :)

I have a friend who 'borrows' stuff off me as well. Actually you've put me in the mood for an Easter Sunday vendetta. I will have my Van Halen DVD, my Monty Python films and a shit pile of DS games back off her, or i'll slap the blonde out of her hair

Edit: It does sadden me that you can't tell when i'm joking though :(
