I did not know that, but whenever my grandmother gave me a wallet or handbag she'd tuck a coin inside it somewhere for good luck.

Why is it now whenever I look for a job, it feels like that place of employment is clicking the IGNORE button on my request?
I think you missed the snark.

And apparently, I can't read either. I thought that said "you missed the sHark."

I guess I can go and show those embarrassing photos I have of you to people as long as you never will meet them, then. We can laugh and laugh and laugh.....

Why did Buzz Lightyear stay still for the humans when he didnt know he was a toy?
  • edited October 2011
Everyone else did. It may have been crowd mentality working on Buzz, it may have been that he wanted to culturally assimilate with the natives, or since it was everyone else's response to an unknown stimulus, he decided it was best to deal with it in the way the natives did(that is, if you're on a strange planet and a monster shows up and everyone starts to play dead, you better do it too because that's obviously the best way to survive).

That or, you know, it's just a stupid Pixar movie that's just a crappy Tom Hanks/Tim Allen buddy cop film, and it really shouldn't be taken even remotely seriously.

Damn it, I lost the notes I had that taught me how to use the particle animation engine in RCT3! Now I have to see if I can find it again online. I hope those websites are still up, seeing how the game is four years old.

Consider the following: if I never find out about it and no one I know laughs at it, where's the harm?

You know, most of us here don't really know him. And if, in THEORY, you were to PM them to all of us, he'd never know about it.

    In theory.

And my controller has played its last game. After realsing after every other second in L4D2, whatever Im doing, I will continue to do that(if Im walking, I will continue to walk, if Im shooting, I wont do anything but that, if Im healing, Ill just stand still when im done.) And after that, it just died. Wont respond to anything after that.

Well I know the next thing Im posting in the "last thing you purchased" thread.

I think you're missing my point. Since no one knows this person here, it is safe to assume that there is no damage to the poor girl's doubtlessly fragile ego.

So, I'm thinking about getting another job, and I'm going to stop philosophizing and live life for a while... I've decided that I became a elitist and that it was harmful to the people in my life who love me. Anyways, your friend doodo here. It's my birthday today, I'm 24 years old today. We're having fruit pizza.

I'm going out for dinner with my family at 4. I got too carried away with philosophy and the man, anti world. I got to give it a rest for a while.

Happy Birthday! Now I'm curious to find out what a fruit pizza is.

It can be, but it's actually like a cookie, with cream cheese on it and fruit. It's really good. :)

    Here's a example

Well, perhaps it's for the best, then. I'll just leave a quote from our favorite queen, Victoria, to make my point instead.

Why yes, indeed. That is without a doubt an awesome slice of 80's vintage. They don't make 'em like that any more.

Does anyone know a good free Illustrator like program for Linux? I tried Inkscape, but I can't get it to install because it think I don't have a required thing I have.

I'll l prolly end up just installing it on my macbook, but I still would like to be able to on this machine

Yes, it is sad, considering the actually competent smartphone OS has has had this feature for years.

If it has the same requirements as Arkham Asylum, then I can't run it at all. 3GHz processor, duel-core at minimum? Yeah... I need a new computer now...

It has Games for Windows Live DRM anyway, you wouldn't have wanted to play it on PC.
