Guru, your quote search skills are impressive... you could almost match mine. :p

Pfft, I didn't even search for that one. Not only did I remember the quote, I remembered what thread it was in and what page it was on.

My brain is a filing cabinet of extremely worthless information.

There's just no choice left. It's time for ol' Pantsy to become a mod.

    NO! I WILL KI---
We can't. For your own safety.
    'Cos TomPravetz would kill you.

    Erm. Yes. That.
TomP? He is no challenge to my finely honed Georgian/bastardized Russian ways. The Reign of Mod Pants must last at least as long as the Telltale Forums exist as an independent entity.

NINJA: So, you know, like a week or so before TTG goes bankrupt.

You know there's something wrong with these forums when trolls can openly serve in the moditary.

I'm Comrade Pants and I'm here to ask you a question.
Is a man not entitled to modhood?
"No!" Says Tom Pravetz, "I'll kill a foo"
"No!" Says GuruGuru, "I'm pretty sure you're a troll"
"No!" Says IcedHope, "You just needed a third no!"
I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible.
    I chose...
    4chan
A forum where the poster would not fear the mod, where the pirate can freely discuss his warez, where the profane would not be bound by petty social mores.
And with the sweat of your brow, 4chan can become your forum, as well.

Nope. My expert sweat appraisers had it valued at £.03 per syringe.

Doing a test this week. It'll probably end up sad and disappointing, but my birthday is coming up and since no one has mentioned it to me(among my friends), I've decided not to say anything either. Not that birthdays are any real deal to me anymore, but I just want to see who actually remembers and who waits for facebook to tell them. I really should change my facebook birthday to the day after, but I'm not *that* cruel. There's a difference between making myself feel unappreciated and purposely making my friends feel like shit.

    All right. Offensive stuff ahead.
Sexual harassment lawyers would LOVE my company.

This is an actual conversation with my boss from this morning. We're sitting face to face on our computers and she's having trouble with her computer.

She: "Why's my internet so slow?"
    Me: "Dunno. Isn't my fault."
She: "Yes it is. You're surely watching porn."
Me: "If I were watching porn, I'd be naked and alone."
She: "...you're PERVERTED... no one's watching porn alone."

Wouldn't you want a boss like that? :D

When I was hired, I was told right away that if I'm easily offended, to seek another job. They couldn't legally do anything of course, but it was highly advised :P
  • edited January 2012
People who get offended easily piss me off. Why do they have to exist and make everything so politically correct? Fuck, people should hear the jokes my friends and I make. No subject is safe. This is how the world ought to be.

How come UK Netflix only has Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, Zeo and Samurai?
  • edited January 2012
However, seeing as how there are all of three human females on this forum an Puzzlebox is the pretty one (tags confirm) then we'd be remiss to dismiss her.

Trying very hard not to get offended here. Also, you probably don't want a certain Comrade Mortis to see this. You might start losing more body parts.

    Because Netflix hates English people.

No offense to you personally, though. Netflix hates everybody. They feed off the loneliness and pain of people who are too lazy to get out of the house and too cheap to actually buy the DVD's. Plus, half of what the put on their instant stream stream is complete crap.

I don't care if there's no DVD of it yet, damn it, I want to stream MLP!

Thats odd with the serge of popularity its had you think they would jump at the chance to stream it.

To be fair, she would make most models blush!

Us sub-humans just have to make do with trying in vain to make other aspects of ourselves attractive.

(I still haven't got comedy right, and don't even speak to me about charm! XD)

EDIT: Dammit! Now I want to watch In Space too! :(

Eh, I bet they will get them on there eventually, its all a matter of time thats all.

Till then, I am watching every single episode of 90's Spider-man, with the occasional good movie thrown in.
(Say what you will about Netflix having a lack of new stuff, but a lot of the old movies on there are great! And there is a pretty good selection of old cult stuff too. I'd rather re-watch the classics, then watch some of the crap they repeat again and again on Sky Movies.)

I personally am trying my hardest to do my assignments and revision and NOT use Netflix.
Man I could spend months watching the stuff on there already.

(It is odd that there is no Evil Dead 2 on there, but 1 and 3 are. I already have 2 and 3 on blu ray.
Note to self: Watch Evil Dead after exam, and Firefly, I got that on BluRay recently, since its my best buddy's favourite show and he's ALWAYS nagging at me to watch it, so for £13.37 on Amazon, I thought why not?)

EDIT 2: My thinking voice has suddenly become Peter Parker's!
I bet this will come back to get me at some point. I just hope I brought enough web cartridges.
Wait my Spider-sense is tingling! UH OH!
    *SMASH*

Umm, ok everyone I'll be back in a minuite. I gotta go to the local jambouree and dance with the locals!
