I drew a picture of an anthropomorphic penis as a beatnik(because, you know, turtlenecks). Sunglasses, cigarette, and a little condom beret. I probably shouldn't post that one here tho
ALSO
it was SERIOUSLY lacking in dinosaurs anyway, and therefore of no interest to anybody ever.
Heard some woman scream at her kids today while playing twisted metal...how can you call a five year old a piece of shit..and ignore their crying...
I know a woman who locks her 3yr old out of her(the woman) room in the evening because she "wants to rest"(as well as yells at her etc etc)...Just doesn't care for her at all because she lives with her stepmother and assumes she'll do something for her and put her to bed(she has two other kids between 8-13 too). ...The extended family is currently trying to do something about her.
I just put out my birthday money in a rush. Four new Blu Rays and a Walking Dead compendium, and whooosh. I've been thinking about trying out markers for a while, but when I finally make that decision, it's probably Copic or nothing.
The Crayola markers are a completely different thing (somewhat derogatorily called a "Filzschreiber" = water based felt marker) in Germany. Only the good stuff like Copic or Prismacolor markers, which are alcohol-based, are able to cover smooth, seamless areas.
But good or bad quality notwithstanding, don't let those works lie in the sun. All markers are notoriously not lightfast. That is in fact the best reason I have why I didn't yet buy a SECOND Copic marker.
I think I'm gonna spend the day feeling sorry for myself 'cos I trapped my finger in my kitchen door which hurt like hell for a few minutes. Now it just throbbing and looking a little purple under the nail. So I'm just gonna have a quiet day watching some films.

Looove my Copics... wish they were cheaper though...
I've been replaying the original Spyro, Meaning I've been trying to actually get past Magic Crafters. It's much easier than I remember it. I'm trying for 100% this time (Something I never do in any game) and I'm finding it easier than I ever have.
Seems like someone has found a new franchise to drool over!
New? I've just been closeted about it. Danny Phantom was my freaking HERO in high school. It's just that Shout Factory is Finally going to release it on DVD.
I also used to be absolutely horrible at aping Butch Hartman's style. I couldn't do it right for a long time. It's not as easy to get right as it looks.
I should totally go through my art drawer when I go home to visit the 'rents next month and show you my (lack of) drawing skills from when I was younger. I have a drawer of nothing but my sketches that I've kept since elementary. I'd say a good 50% of them are Danny Phantom and *shudder* YuGiOh.
In a past life I even was a tournament YuGiOh player. Yes, I was *that* nerdy...

Hey! I like Yu-Gi-Oh.
The first series was pretty good. (The abridged parody, AWESOME!)
And the card game is accessable, but also requires some skill.
(But still very luck based sadly)
Heart attack. He seems fine now and is mostly worrying about other people, and they'll be doing a cardiac stress test in the morning to see if he should go to his specialist or get extra care.
After this is finished, what should I draw or paint next? Suggestions appreciated!

Over the past two days I've watched 6 films and tomorrow I'll watch 2 more. And they're not even Star Trek films, which I have done before. I think I do that a lot, watching a lot of one thing if I'm into it. Like The Walking Dead. I watched the first season over two days, though that's not that impressive as there were only 6 episodes. It was like I was watching a normal British series, that length. Then a couple of days ago I caught up with season 2 over two days as well (a slightly more impressive 8 episodes).
I also tore through the first two seasons of Quantum Leap recently before stopping because other things came up. Now the hard part after doing that is restarting where I left off because I'm not in the same zone, the same frame of mind as I was at the start. Of course it could come back so easily but often it doesn't. The same thing happened when I tried rewatching The X-Files, stopped near the end of the 2nd season a couple of months ago, and now I just can't get the drive to get back into it. I will say that I've never had this problem rewatching Deep Space Nine.
I really need to find something more productive to do with my time.

I read that in their voices. Also, Digital. I only say that because it might look more true to the show digital.
And I go back to wanting to punch people in the face. Well, that was a nice 4 days.
Too late, Rem.
They don't sell Crayola in Germany? I use Prismas but there are childsafe (ie inexpensive) markers too.

(I had a break that was a whole HOUR late. Talk about throwing a guy off. And it was so noisy and busy. I hate working retail... )
Oh well. At least I got two weeks (i.e. 2 saturdays) off now.
Working in retail isn't that bad. I love my Job.
Yeah. It goes quick. But its stressful when its busy.
In other news, everytime I go onto a chat. I instantly become very hilarious and random.
I like it..
Looove my Copics... wish they were cheaper though...
You were born weren't you?
That wasn't MY mistake though!
ah well. Still awesome.

Aww I'm sorry. I hope he gets better.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.
What for?
And I hope he's fine.

You should do a DP piece with Sam in it.

Sam is the best. Seconded.
