I dislike both the Republicans and the Democrats. But if I had to choose, I believe that the next president will probably be Romney.

If Romney wins, I won't do anything drastic because I don't really do drastic things, but I will probably stare at the wall for a long time. And then give up any dreams I have of someday growing an organ from scratch unless I move to Japan.

Or just give up all of your dreams altogether, because science will have been abolished in Merica.

I just got home. I dealt with it as fast as I could. I haven't even eaten dinner yet. What do you people want from me?

I have an odd feeling you don't want us to answer this :p

Don't take the burden upon yourself. You folks are usually so efficient about this that the posts are usually never up for more than a minute so it was surprising to me. You in particular do a great job.

Go eat your supper and take a hot bath. Hard workers with integrity deserve that. :)

Looks like Missouri and Nevada can't figure their shit out.

I don't get how these things work. I mean here I am sitting at home before an election.... How do they assume how I'll vote beforehand?
  • edited October 2012
    Yeah that looks like Missouri.

I don’t give a damn. I still won’t vote for either of them.

Vote for Nader. Is he still running? After all these years, I've just taken it for granted that he was.

    Wow, he actually isn't.

Wow. It's like the end of an era. I remember him running against Clinton.

I knew that speaking your mind can sometimes "start a fire”, if you know what I mean.
  • edited October 2012
I find that when your intention in speaking your mind is to start a fire, you're more likely to get one than if you were just speaking your mind to speak your mind.

Hell, one look at the Walking Dead board is proof enough of that.

Of course, I get the feeling that we may be talking about different things here.

Why do I like Lady Gaga's music? Her music is the type I'd normally hate. And for some reason I love Bad Romance, and that's just 3 minutes and 44 seconds of saying "Fuck me"

Skyfall theme with Adele OK as well. Still, it shows the limits of her voice.

You can't control what you like.

My favorite Gaga song is Poke Her Face.

Gaga's a good songwriter. Her image is really obnoxious though imo.

I liked how she spoke out against people having a go at her for putting on weight, doubly so because she suffers from eating disorder, the media worries me a lot at times...

Also, I've been listening to a lot of Barenaked Ladies, effortless pop gems that are as carefully considered as they are quirky.

I was speaking my mind just to speak my mind. I wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition.

Aside from that, I know that you were just making an observation. I just wanted to see who would try to quote Monty Python if I used the Spanish Inquisition gimmick.
