Note to self: Watch Duck Soup tomorrow after morning Game Grumps.

I love that you say morning Game Grumps as if that's like, your ultra-high class constitutional before breakfast.

Alright so what's everyone doing for Halloween!?!?
    Eating candy.

    Giving candy to kids.

    Too much candy was bought.

    Being alone.

    Watching cartoons.

    Don't have a costume.

    Ordered a pizza.

    Ordered a pizza.

Fun fact: Halloween is the busiest day of the year for pizza delivery.
  • edited October 2012
I actually did not have a pizza today. That makes a first for this week.

    Going back to pizza tomorrow.

As for what I did, I dressed up as my professor, ate candy, gave candy out to kids, and watched a series of spooky plays in a cemetery. I think I hit all the things on the list.

Oh, also my Avengers poster arrived. Not exactly Halloween related, but it's still a thing that happened.

I had buffalo chicken wings. :) I really felt like eating a slice of pizza afterward though. Pizza and wings go so well together. :D

Just finished the first episode of Alan Wake.

Two things are running through my mind...

Firstly, this game is pretty good. Nice characterisation and story, and good mechanics that do make you pretty tense.

    Secondly...

This is going to be an interesting class. Planning on showing a lot of movies and turning out the lights?

    He thought it was hilarious.

Actually, everyone in my lab dressed up as him. It was pretty fantastic.

I knew that Halloween was going to fly by this year. Now we just have to wait for Thanksgiving.

She dressed as Jessica Rabbit, and had the assets to make it work. The photo, alas, stays on my phone.

Man, every PC game looks better on a TV. Thank you HDMI.

    Tell me about it! XD

Thats what I've been doing with my new laptop. Sitting it on the speaker in the living room, (where the PS3 used to be before it disappeared into my brother's room), plug in the HDMI cable, the PC/Mouse Dongle, and the 360 dongle, and BINGO! Instant 42 inch awesomeness. :D
(with up to 4 360 controllers to use (as long as the game supports them of course (co-op Rayman Origins... nice... :D))
Set Steam to big chunky icon mode, and play about 45 PC titles, quickly, easily and smoothly.

Just wish I had a proper surface to use the keyboard and mouse on. Then again, if I did, I'd never leave the living room! XD
(It would become the "Civilistation/X-COM room")
  • edited November 2012
I have an all surface mouse. I can use it on my face if I want. I'll be shopping for a good controller today I can use with my PC and then it's Amnesia on my HD TV.

Treated myself to a megamundo micromeal.

Chicken Tikka, Bhaji Aloo, Onion Bhajis, and Some butter chicken, sided with a little mango chutney and Lime Pickle, and a bit of Naan (I put mine in the toaster. Quicker and less likely to burn). Ohhh yeah! Thats what you call some good eatin' ;D

Cost about £8, but totally worth it!
(Plus there is some left over for others to taste, so all in all, its pretty good value for money! :D)

Two months without the Comrade. Davies has been offline for far longer now. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON.

    Note to self:
Propose Communist Alien game to Telltale officials to get two community members to return.

You know, I always wonder why exactly I come back here...

I mean, I talk to more people on the internet, then I have ever really spoken to in real life. Infact, I only ever speak to one person on Facebook. Thats it. The only person, barring my best friend, I ever say anything to. Never meet up with him. Just occasionally quip in to whatever he posts.

I guess its weird. The idea of randomly replying to people I haven't met in person for years. Must be that fear of rejection sparking up.

Maybe its just habit now. Posting for the sake of posting. Something to keep the small scrap of sanity left from fluttering out of the window.

    ....

I really need to do something. Anything really. -_-
(Maybe going offline for a while and destroying my Facebook might be a good idea. I don't know why I check it so often. Again, probably habit re-enforced by university)

Huh. I have Pants friended on Facebook, so with his steady stream of ranting there, I hadn't even realized he hadn't been around here.

He does seem to rant on a regular basis.

Comrade Pants had a little technical problem a month or two ago, where his laptop went kaplooey, and he was forced to start using a netbook. As far as I know, that's still the case. He's active elsewhere, though, and I got the feeling he was down on the Telltale Forums. Maybe those of you who are closer friends can ask him what's up.

    Davies, I dunno.

Yeah, he's still on the netbook, but that wouldn't prevent him from coming here.

Honestly, I think he's just forgotten. At some point, he'll get bored and remember that this place exists.

The real truth is that the computer that died automatically signed into Telltale, and when it died he forgot the password he used, which was probably some random gobbledygook anyway. Basically, he's locked out by his own incompetence. Kinda funny actually.
