How do i get the blocks?

I cant seem to get grandpa mole distracted so that i can the blocks? how do i do this, have the voice doll thingy and i got the sex'o curse on me?

Also what does his curse do?

    The sex'o'rejecto curse repels the opposite sex.
    Hmmm now isn't there a FEMALE in the room you could fling about with that curse?
    Ah it flings her in front of the sarcophagus.

    But wait!
    Didn't Grandpa want to play with the baby?
    Grandpa is in almost a direct line from the sarcophagus.
    You can use ventriloquism on the sarcophagus, I wonder if the curse also works thru projected voice?

    Grandpa's Curse is bad luck, it is required to complete the tomb, but you can't get it unless he hates you and to make him hate you you have to learn of a place he hates during reel 3
