Steam Question

I recently purchase Tales on Steam and so far it's been hilarious and all sorts of fun!

However, I have a small question/request.

In "My Games" in the "Community" section of the Steam client, all your games are listed for other people to see. As many of you probably know, each game within this list has some neat artwork icons to go with it.

Most of TellTale's games, such as the Sam and Max seasons, have unique icons for each episode within each season.

For Tales of Monkey Island, however, all of the episodes except episode 1 have a generic icon, which just says "Tales of Monkey Island" rather than "Tales of Monkey Island Episode One, Two, etc".

I know this isn't that huge of a deal...I'm just incredibly OCD about things like this and was wondering if it's possible that TellTale will eventually update these icons to respect the specific episode it pertains to.

Thanks a bunch!

Yeah, I know how you feel. With the version direct from Telltale, the icon for Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is the only icon that doesn't feature concept art. It's also slightly smaller and has just a plain, purple background. It's been bugging me every time I see it.

It still hasn't been fixed, but Jake from Telltale said that he'd eventually look into updating it. I guess the same could happen with the Steam icon, but it's probably a little less likely as they'd have to consult Steam in order to get it changed (at least I think that they would have to). Anyway, it's a good thing that you brought it up otherwise it may have gone unnoticed for a long time.

I can't give you an answer, but I'd say it may possibly be updated eventually. We'll have to wait for a reply from somebody from Telltale.

Actually, Telltale have already said that the update for LotSN (With the Earl Boen voiceover for Lechuck) will have an updated icon, which is the same as the icon for Mac users, who already own the Earlified version.

Oh yeah, that's right. Thanks for reminding me.

Any idea of when the earl boen LotSN will be up?

I like The Highway's icon for Narwhal better.

Can a dev confirm/deny that an icon update will be coming with the Earl Boen update?

    I'm assuming no.

Bumping this up. I just want to know if Telltale is aware of this at all.
