Abolish that word

OK, quick, here's an important game design question: if you could officially eliminate one word or phrase from the English language, what would it be?

Don't think about it too much. Time is of the essence!

I'm one of those who thought about it too long. :(

For the record, my vote was "yellow". And I have no idea why.

'ur', as in the IM/text message abbreviation: "ur having fun?".

It's such a vulgar way of saying you dislike something.

As a huge Eric Clapton fan, I find that you would want Cream removed from the lexicon somewhat disturbing.

That's a weird coincidence. I just heard the word ameliorate yesterday for the first time! ... or is it a coincidence????

Mine is the word "the", which is totally useless, as the russian language has shown.

I'm thinking "slapdash" would be my word.

Yes, there was a band called "Cream" as well. Imagine my horror and dismay.

Yech... Just thinking of the word makes me feel the need to take a shower now.

If you attempt to abolish the word "abolish," does the universe cave in on itself and collapse?

"Cool", if only just so everyone would start using "hip" again.

"Pizzaz", though I dislike "Outrageous" as well, because it's so overused.
    Wait!
    "Overuse".

I'll have to say "irregardless" because we already have a perflectly good word for it: "regardless". On that note, I'll also submit "flammable" since it only exists because "inflammable" confused people. I ask you, why would anyone warn you that a substance will not catch on fire?

    Phrase: "When it's done"

Word: "Raucous" because I hate how it is spelled

I hate how "business" is spelled so maybe it should be kicked out and replaced with bizness.

Actually, I find the phrase "sup" a tad irritating. That is, unless it's in the context of "will you sup with me tonight, Casca?"

Have I just been a part of a big psychological experiment? Are my phones tapped? Have I been microchipped?

My nomination is "That's hot." (just that phrase, and said in that oh-so-aggrivating way that a certain celebutante that shall not be named says it)

I personally could do without ever hearing the word "cancelled" ever again :) . Then again maybe not... think of all the bad television that would never go away

I think my runner up is "unlikely" and words with the same meaning. They just seem so negetive
