Could i add Subtitles to the dvd version on the future?

Sorry for my bad english.

Im a spanish monkey island fan that are still waiting for the announced subtitles for TOMM. I would like to know if the subtitles will be availables to download and use with the original version, or if there is going to be an special vrsion with subtitules.

If the answer is the first one (subtitles will be addables to the actual version) ill buy the dvd now that you have an offer...

thanks.

    ¡Hola!

nomecopies, considering that more people might be interested in knowing if it's possible to have subtitles in their own language (i don't btw. :P), it would be nice if you posted in a language that most people understand (i.e. english)

Sorry, I posted it in Spanish cause aidalai said he was spanish and it's easier for me in my mother language... Anyway, I said that Telltale haven't done such thing before. The usual way is that Telltale sell the rights to another distributor that makes the localized versions, and it's what's probably going to happen this time too.

But if they launch a patch with international subtitles... that would be awesome!

I'm spanish too. I used the non official patches for the subtitles. I know it's illegal, but although I can play them in english, I loved to play the episodes in a very acceptable spanish subtitles.

Now my doubt is the same. I have the collectors DVD. I haven't had enough time to test it, but I don't know if it will be able to 'patch' that version of the games to play with the no official subtitles.

Can't wait for an official subtitles release .

Hmm... I don't know. Maybe it's different with Spanish, but usually, when you translate an English phrase into German, it gets double as long and I would find reading long sentences a confusing hold up in the game's flow. I needed the English subtitles for some words here and there before I turned them off again. That usually was sufficient and is a good training for any non-native speaker.
