I want it back too. I noticed it when I first played ep2 a few months ago and figured there was a reason for it. Didn't occur to me to ask anyone until it was too late. And it turn out there wasn't a reason for it. It was left out by accident.

Anyway. I have my fingers crossed that Whee! will be back in episode 3. :D

Could just yell "Whee!" in your best Max voice every time :P

I say that we should be able to call Telltale's offices, and the voice actor for max will have to be waiting by 24 hours a day. Then, we tell him we are going to walk over Max... so he can yell "Wheeeeee!" every time we throw Max into the air. That is the least you can do, TTG.

Or I will just do what ShaggE says and yell it myself :D

Yeah, it's a shame that the "wheee" wasn't there... Doesn't really matter that much though, I guess... Just make sure to get it back in the coming episodes, will you? :)

Sam and Max should have a Wii in their office.... it'd give another opportunity to use that sound file :D

"What are you playing, little buddy?"

    "The WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

What is sad is that the first thing I did when I loaded up the game was walk over to Max to throw him into the air... it made me cry when no sound was to be heard from the Maximilian Missile.

My computer can't render the punching animation, or the animation of Max flying out of the way. I didn't even know that was what happened until I clicked on this thread. All I get is the "whee!" sound. And now to hear... that I won't even get that anymore.... It's too much to bear.

For all the sick orphans of the world, Telltale, please return "whee!". How else will the children hold on to hope that their favorite freelancer keepers of (violent) peace will make an appearance on their Wiis?

This is a great opportunity for a telethon.

"Every day, a hundred or so gamers miss out on the "Wheee!" sound. The United Whee Fund seeks to change this. Donate now, operators are standing by."

Let's hope his hands don't get cold, there's not enough room for both.

I know where Max keeps his gun. Let's just say that it gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "You crack me up".

Similarly, I miss Hugh Bliss' ding when he says his name in ep.4.
