Anyone had thier special edition shipped?

I find it annoying that telltale give us a page that says whats still to be made but when people are recieving voodoo card when the page hasnt changed it makes you frustraited cause you dont know if anything else hasnt been finished.

so basicly has anyone had an email or word about the TOMI special edition being shipped yet or even nearing completion?

would be nice for telltale to tell us at least how the progress is going in a little update thread or something =(

    My order has been "submitted to [Telltale's] warehouse and will ship soon". The best part of this is that it means that the DVD-related threads will soon be disappearing. I really hope that they get locked so that they sink to the bottom of the forum, I never want to see them again.

    There's not much we can do about it, though. But whenever TOMI2 comes out and a Deluxe Edition will be available I will have learned from the past NOT to preorder it.

    I don't know about that (for me anyway). Pre-ordering this time gave us free postage. if i hadn't pre-ordered i would have had to fork out an extra £15 (i think it was more actually) for shipping.

    Misleading title. I thought, this would be a petition for physical media for the Special Editions. Turned out, this is just yet another thread about the shipping status of TOMI deluxe edition.

    There is no TOMI special edition. And the special edition there is, is not shipped nor even announced on physical media, unfortunately.

    Where do you go to see the status of your order? I go to My Games but it just shows what I ordered. It doesn't say processing or backordered or anything. Am I in the wrong place?

    My Games (by which I assume you mean My Telltale) is the right place.
    Below the list of your downloadable games is a section called "Stuff You've Bought: A Retrospective" which lists all your orders in anti-chronological order with the status for the most recent ones right underneath the recap of said orders (my last two orders say: "Your order is being processed and will ship soon. Please check back later for shipping info." and "Your order has been submitted to our warehouse and will ship soon. Please check back later for shipping info." Yeeaaah!).

    Whats this "Deluxe Edition Package" people have on their order? Is it some fab goodies I missed as it doesn't show on mine?

    No, the Deluxe edition for some people showed up twice. Once as what you have and twice as Package. Mine used to say this but it's been switched to just the one. They're both the same thing.

    Looking forward to it coming. Just glad I have the next Doctor Who adventure out tomorrow and then of course, MI2SE to keep me entertained in the mean time. :D

    Three months of waiting is just to long for my taste. Yes, I know it's been a pre-order, but at times it felt like I had pre-ordered A Vampyre Story 2 or something which might not get done until the dawn of 2012.

    Mine is still "backordered". I can't say I mind too much. From past experience, the DVDs have always taken ages to come out and I've played the games which is the most important bit.

    I can. You can use the money in the meantime for something else and have it saved up again before it's released, meaning you get the other thing faster (up to three months faster in this specific case) while still being able to buy the DVD before it's even out.
    Also, there might be a better promotion before it's released. In my case, when I cancelled my preorder of the Deluxe edition + other stuff (to meet free shipping) and my order or Puzzle Agent, then placed a common order, the 50% everything more than made up for free shipping.
    And my order was mailed on the 12th (my new, non-Deluxe order, that is), which doesn't seem significantly later than people who pre-ordered the standard Edition.
