Skunkape x Papierwaite Appreciation Thread

edited July 2010 in Sam & Max
I can't believe they broke up!

I really thought they were forever, didn't you?

*sigh* Yeah they would have made a great team if they concentrated more. Both of them are awesome villians!

But how has Papierwaite managed to stay alive for over a century? And wait a second, gorillas can't talk! No no no, nothing about this makes any sense at all!

EXCLUSIVE! Papierwaite reveals all on his messy breakup. Meanwhile, General Skunkape spotted having lunch with Hugh Bliss!

So Papierwaite's available? (What can I say? I'm a sucker for men of indeterminate accents. ;) )
  • edited June 2010
Not to mention older OLDER men :P
  • edited June 2010
Oh, what glowy and vaguely-scientific devastation they could have caused together! If only Papierwaite weren't so speciest and Skun-ka'pe could see the beauty in a cult that worships an ancient, eldritch god of decidedly-ill and destructive intentions. *sniffle*

Off-Topic: Ah? No way! You STILL have a night in the cairo to do!

ANNNDDDDD, yep, his accent is awesome.

You know, I was wondering why Skunkape traipsed around in that skimpy bondage outfit that showed red hiney. He was hoping to get some intergalactic action! Granted, he flirted heavily with Stinky, but he could be bisexual, or still in the closet.

Suddenly, I'm envisioning Skunkape and Papierwaite getting into a fight over Max's brain, and eventually they end up hitting and wrestling each other. Then Max says something about the two wrestling together, they stop, back away, blush a little, then get back into a general space-tech vs. arcane magic brawl.
I wonder if I should draw this or something...

Don't say it! Please don't say it!
    Rule 34?
Ugh, you went and said it. Way too many bad thoughts are going through my head now. You're lucky I don't have a magic teleporting telephone thingie that would show you exactly what kind of filth is in my mind right now because of those two words.

    Rule 34?

That tearing sound you hear may be your soul attempting to vacate the premises.

    what is rule 34?

They will get back together in the next episode I'm sure.
The two are just made for each other.
    Likewise:

    Sam x Max
    Sammun-Mak x Sammun-Mak
    Sal x Girl Stinky
    Nefertiti x Jurgen
    Frankie x Ape Sign-Spinner
    Tourist x Grandpa Stinky

    They all make perfect sense.

You probably don't want to know. You'd just have to get more brain bleach. Look it up if you must, but avoid pictures.

Does anyone else find themselves reading Kane's posts and imagining Homsar as being the one who made them?

    Off-topic:Good comparison.

On-topic:*Imagines Skunkape and Papierwaite on a date* Thankfully I already don't remember this.
  • edited June 2010
I can see them dating without getting sick or anything; they'd probably just argue all the time, or the dates they would go on would be smattered with denial. I can also see them as Sammun-Mak's adopted parents; Papierwaite had a very parental role as Grand Vizier in my opinion.

Ahaha, it just means I'll probably be drawing more Papierwaite in the future. :p He's shaping up to be one of my favorite new characters this season. But I'd rather get to the other projects I already have queued up first.

Weirdly enough, I can't imagine them dating or liking each other that way -- at least apart from the break-up/make-up jokes -- but adopting Sammun-Mak together ... makes a curiously sizable amount of sense. Huh.

and i've just realized this thread has earned the third ever "oh god this thread." tag. oh the sub-humanity!

What I meant was that they'd interact the same way they always do, arguing and having tenuous alliances, but in situations that are reserved for that of two men dating, and the two would be completely oblivious. I've already mentioned the wrestling-over-Max's-brain comment, but I can also see them grabbing a bite to eat together (because summoning satanic toys is tiring) and they just happen to choose a place with romantic ambiance, and they're just arguing about the alliance while other couples give them annoyed looks.

Also, if you should draw a picture of Skunkape and Papierwaite as Sammun-Mak's adopted parents, I will love you forever.

Again, Rule 34. But I do miss Momma Bosco and Superball. They were amazing in the Penal Zone.

The relationships in Sam and Max have become so complicated that everyone is related to each other. Oh and...

Bosco did go off on a romantic trip to Vegas with Bluster Blaster
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas ;)
  • edited June 2010
I always assumed it was more of a buddy trip to Vegas, not a romantic one. I figured Bosco and Bluster Blaster were trying to implement Bosco's "system" (Maybe use the money to open a BoscoTech themed casino) and then they got into a crazy adventure of their own; something akin to fighting the living dead in the deserts of Nevada.

    Perhaps a future spin-off game?

I think this calls for a Disturbing Fan Art: Sam and Max edition thread.

I honestly would not mind the fanart.
