I got a TSOMI:SE to give away on Steam

I pre-ordered LeChuck's Revenge, which of course entitled me to a free copy of Secret of Monkey Island. But I already have it. I can't give it to my friends because those who are interested already have it.

Anyone here with Steam who doesn't already have TSOMI:SE and wants it?

    I have a free one as well.....

    ...but I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet :). I'm thinking of giving it to my dad. I'll see what he says.

    Just a question, so after you order MI2SE, they send you a code to get TSOMI:SE, right?

    You just put MI2 in your cart, not both of them, right?

    On Steam, if you buy just MI2:SE, you get both games. So you only need to buy MI2.
    And they don't send you a code, they just add both games to your gamelist.

    When you buy MI2:SE you get both games, but if you already had SoMI:SE before that, you will be able to gift it to someone else by going to games -> manage gifts and guest passes.


    As for my extra copy with nothing to do with it - thatdude, you're the first to ask for it, but first I gotta check with one guy if he wants it or not. It's all yours if he doesn't :)

    He's offline now though so it'll take a while.

    If anybody has a copy, I'll take it. My budget is still too low to snag LeChuck's Revenge in time for the deal, and I still don't own the Special Edition on PC. Steam Profile

    Oh, and if anyone wants to trade their Secret of Monkey Island: SE key for a Left 4 Dead(the first one) key, I have an extra one of those sitting around unsent. =P

    I really wish I had read this thread before going through all the hassle I just did on steam. It took me an hour to pre-order because I had no idea what the heck I was doing. Then I had to find my spare copy and attempt to send it to my brother. Thankfully it worked. This quote would've saved me no end of trouble. Oh well. It's done now.
