When is Telltale going to put Monkey Island 2: SE up for sale in their store?

Steam is already taking preorders for Monkey Island 2: SE, and is giving away the first game (Secret of Monkey Island: SE) when preordering.

When is Telltale going to put the game up for sale in their store? Any chance of offering a similar deal? (buy MI2: SE and get MI: SE free).

I already got MI: SE in Steam, and I'm thinking on buying MI2: SE from Telltale. It would be cool to have both games in the Telltale system (no need to use Steam) without having to buy MI: SE again.

It took over 6 months for Telltale to offer the first game after it was released on Steam, so I'm thinking that LucasArts probably had some kind of Steam early release exclusive for The Secret of Monkey Island and that it will be the same with LeChuck's Revenge.
I could be wrong (been before, will be again!) of course...

MISE launched on Direct2Drive and XBLA simultaneously with Steam, so they definitely did not have an exclusive agreement for it.

Exclusive with Steam, Direct2Drive and XBLA then, maybe?
    Or not... ;)

Something that I'm curious about is that if LCR does come to the Telltale Store, will it have achievements live the Steam version? Either way, it doesn't bother me, cause I was planning on getting the game on release day no matter if its steam or not. I pre-ordered, cause I'm way too impatient to wait a possible 6 months for Telltale to have it.

AFAIK, the reason the TTG version took longer is that TTG had to attach their unlock system/SecuROM activation software to the game. Why it took so long to get it out, I'm not sure, but I'm sure there were "various and sundry" reasons, as Will would say. :p

Actually, regarding achievements, there's no reason to believe that the Steam version has those either. Only the XBL version had achievements for SMI:SE. And looking at the MI2:SE store page on Steam it's not listing any achievements either.

Actually, if you look at it now, it mentions SteamWorks achievements.

Oh, it mentions them in the features. That's cool then. But it still doesn't show the actual achievement list...I wonder why.
