Saving?

Might be a stupid question but how do I save? I only turned the game on to have a bit of a look before I need to go out, and now I dont know how to save. Im use to pressing esc like in Tales but it doesnt do anything.

Whenever you complete or enter a puzzle it saves. Whenever you quit via the menu it saves. It saves quite frequently, actually. Try to not think about it :)

HUGE design mistake. "Save & Quit" is a popular title for a reason.

In this game it would be built-in cheat tool unless it detects all saved games and then somehow prevent cheating.

It isn't a design mistake, it helps a lot. It saves very frequently, so there's no risk of you losing any progress. My computer restarts suddenly sometimes, so this helped me a lot as the game always saved without me needing to save it after every puzzle.

The design mistake is not informing the user when it's saved, or that when you quit via the menu it will save for you. I'm not talking about adding any new behaviour, just a little heads up to the user that they're not going to lose their progress. Which is kind of important since there are so many unskippable animations.

Ehm... you do realise that's already the way the game works, right? It's just a suggestion to slightly tweak the exit text to reflect what happens...
