Ankh: Flickering Cursor Problem

Hi. I've tried to play Ankh, but as soon as it starts up I see a flickering box in the middle of the screen on the menus, then in the game the cursor and everything it touches flickers. I'm using a Geforce 7800 and a widescreen display. My monitor only supports 1024x768 for this game. Anyone know of a fix for this? I've tried adjusted 3d options with nvidia control panel, but theres no effect.

    I'm afraid we can't offer tech support for the game, but I can pass your question along to Deck13.

    Are you given the option to play the game in a window instead of full screen? That might help.

    Emily, thanks for the offer to pass my Q along, but when I tried again today, the problem is gone! I guess its just some strange technical glitch. Now at least I can satisfy my adventure itch til Sam and Max Ep 3 finally hits!
