I'll make it short:

- I know this is not a MI2 discussion area, but so many threads were posted here, I figured: "Why not?"

No spoilers, trust me.

When you get the juju bag from the Voodoo Lady, LOOK inside it before you do anything else. When everything will be dark at some point in the future, you won't be able to look into it.
This is a bug that was in the original version as well, made me go back to a VERY old savegame :)

    if you open the bag at that point it works fine, sorry you went back

    Yeah, I opened the bag in the dark, Guybrush instead says "I think these are matches, ..and this feels like some sort of bomb!"

    Maybe you tried Look at juju bag, instead of open juju bag?
