    In short, I'm afraid so.

Hopefully you'll get the money together to play soon :)

I'm intrigued by all these mention of "Collectors Edition" I suspect its people making false assumptions.

Last I checked the store only ever had Standard and Deluxe Editions.
It never said Deluxe was a limited edition, or a collectors edition.

I mean even if it DID call it collectors edition that doesn't automatically make it limited edition.

    Emo Hoe is right.

There are basically 3 physical editions of the game, all of which have the same DVD content and none of them are limited.

    They are:

    - The Standard Edition (with regular cover), available for everyone for $34.95 + shipping costs (free + shipping costs if the downloadable versions were ordered - but not pre-ordered).

    - The Standard Edition with Steve Purcell slipcover, available for pre-orderers of the downloadable versions for free + shipping costs.

    - The Deluxe Edition (which is basically the Standard Edition with Steve Purcell slipcover plus other goodies, encased in a nice cardboard treasure chest), available for everyone for $49.95 + shipping costs ($14.95 + shipping costs for anyone who ordered - or pre-ordered - the downloadable versions).

Emo Hoe i was refearing to the home page.
    http://www.telltalegames.com/monkeyisland
    "Place order for
    Collectors DVD
    You only pay for shipping"

I understood that preordering customers who opted for the "collectors" edition got something special, but it appears that anyone who has purchased all the episodes, now can receive the "collectors dvd" if they pay for shipping.
I placed my order quickly when i preordered hopping i would get something special and now regret doing so or i would have waited till i can play it...or purchased it off the PSN.

EDIT: I now understand my homepage for TOMI is different because it recognises that i have purchased the game on preorder. I thought that everyone sees the same offer. I still regret buying this "special preorder collectors" version. Playing it on PS3 with controllers on a big screen sounds a lot more exciting. I guess il have to buy the game again on PSN and accept my loss on the computer version, I doubt it will be possible to sell it.

EDIT 2: By the way, i may be mistaken but do i now have to pay another fee for shipping of the dvd? , nothing was mentioned of this when i pre ordered. Im starting to REALLY regret this pre order. Is it possible to get a refund? Can telltale check in there records if the codes have been used etc? because i have only used the first one and the game did not work so i did not even get passed the menu and all the other codes are unused. I still really want to play this game and support it but through PSN, dont get me wrong i still want to support this great game and company i just dont have the money to buy 2 editions of the same game.

You have to pay shipping. That's all. And it was mentioned during pre-order time. That's how I knew before the game even came out when I paid for it.

What codes are you talking about?

I believe Warzinak is referring to the games' serial numbers.
I'm not sure what Telltale can do for you at this time (after all, since you pre-ordered, you've kinda had the games - especially episode 1 ;) - for over a year), but your best option is probably to e-mail support@telltalegames.com and explain the situation.

I'm sure I read somewhere that there's no DRM on the Tales DVD - if that's true then you could feasibly sell it.

As long as it's not the Wallace & Gromit DVD, he should be able to sell any of Telltale's DVDs, since they're not linked to anyone's account, and as far as the SecuROM is concerned, doesn't that just require the disc to be in the drive?
