should monkey 1 and 2 se be relased on a dvd like the orignial monkey island maddness?

    Absolutely, it would be more than a little bit handy for people like me without an Internet connection at home. On that note, if Lucasarts do this then please NO online-activation DRM. The way Telltale went about it with their TOMI DVD is a good foundation.

    Of course it also wouldn't hurt to have the DVD case sitting proudly on my shelf, amongst my adventure game collection :)

    ive been wanting this since the 1st special edition came out, cause ive got all the orignal boxes of the games, and now with my tales dvd coming soon, i have all in hard copy, except the special edition, which i want to add to my collection

    I was worried that both SEs wouldn't fit on a DVD, but both game folders combined comes to a file size of 4.21 GB. Just enough for a DVD :). And if you compress that for installation it'd be even smaller.

    even more if you pack the files in the installer. Just enough space for some additional extras.

    I love to have hard copies of the games I play. That way I can gather them on my shelf, look at them altogether, and say 'yeah! That's mine!'

    It's a good feeling. So, yeah, they should release DVD's of the SE's.
