Stupidity... but man, I just want to get my game working.

Look, I'm not going to suggest what I did was very bright. In fact, my approach to buying the game was utterly moronic, but I did pay for the entire season, and would just like to get my game working.

The circumstances behind me buying Sam and Max were complex. I don't have a credit card, so I brought in my uncle to use his, and paid him the amount in cash. Unfortunately, I had no experience buying things online, so I ended up going partway through the purchasing procedure a couple of times before I got it right, and then finally bought the game. However, I got quite far into the process each time... That was the first stupid thing I did.

Second stupid thing... ended up using a mixture of my personal information and my uncle's. Used his in places I felt it would be important to be consistent with the credit card, used mine for the places I felt needed to be accurate with the person who was actually going to use the game.

I didn't really do anything other than download the first episode, so I don't really know how to go about getting the first one back. Also quite dumb.

But the stupidest thing I did... I didn't record any of the information I used or received. I guess I assumed I would just need to know my e-mail address and my password. Big mistake. Now I'm wondering what exactly my "Order Number" is, and if I can still access it.

I'm wondering exactly what I was thinking, but most of all, I just want to get the game I paid for back on my system. So what kind of information do I have to dig up? Where might I look for it?

If it means anything, I've got three identical e-mails dated January 5th, 11th and 17th asking me to hurry up and pay for the game already. This is probably from the time I tried to order Sam and Max through wire transfer, not realizing that meant providing information to the bank. Yeah, I know... stupid.

Send me a private forum message with the email address you used to place the order and I'll pass it along to people smarter than me, who can look you up in the database and see what's going on.

    We can work this out!

By the way, I just got an e-mail saying that my order has been canceled. Seems very likely that may have something to do with my problems.

Managed to get the game back, thanks for your help.

Now, I just need to tweak some settings with my computer...
