Fatal Conspiracy?

I would have thought that someone would be talking here about the new csi game that was announced over a month ago

But yeah, the new game will be called Fatal Conspiracy, and releases this fall...

here is the ubisoft promo site, http://csi.us.ubi.com/fatalconspiracy/#/video/7965

Doesnt look like any radical changes from their previous handling of the series

ah, that explains it... i did not look at that thread because this is not the 6th game... its actually the 8th consecutive CSI: game in as many years

It's the 6th CSI: Las Vegas game
If you look at the names of the files of the last CSI: Las Vegas games, you can see that 3 Dimensions of murder and Hard Evidence are csi3 and cs4 respectively (although they should be csi4 and csi5 if you count CSI: Miami), and Deadly Intent is csi5 (although it should be csi7 if you count CSI: Miami and CSI: NY)

OK, this is funny ... sort of. I went to the Ubisoft site to look at the CSI trailer and it asks for your birthday, right? Entered mine many times and it kept bringing me back to the same birthday question. I finally took 20 years off my birth year and, as if by magic, I got into the site. Age discriminating?? LOL

But I want a new CSI: Miami game! While I love Las Vegas, Horatio is still my favorite character.

i found this about the game

For the first time in the CSI game series, team up with the cast of CSI: Crime Scene InvestigationTM not only to solve some of the most gruesome crimes of Sin City, but also to take down a dangerous drug cartel. Unveil clues in 5 connected cases to bring a powerful drug lord to justice in the most strategic and unpredictable CSI game yet!

    CSI: Fatal Conspiracy Features:

Take Down the Queen... Partner with FBI agent Gene Huntby in 5 connected cases. Special Agent Huntby will both help and challenge you in a hunt for the Queen of the Hive, a formidable drug lord that may be behind a series of shocking murders.
Unveil a Conspiracy… Be prepared to work with your CSI partners, including the returning Sara Sidle, to solve murder cases and uncover the Fatal Conspiracy behind the crimes you investigate. You will question the integrity of even your own CSI teammates as suspicions arise of infiltration by the powerful criminal organization.
Feel Chills Run Down Your Spine… While exploring crime scenes, analyzing unusual evidence, or following the twists of the story. CSI: Fatal Conspiracy is an all new immersive experience thanks to intriguing cases written with CSI show writers, a fully updated rendering engine allowing for more realistic lighting effects, and enhanced character acting and lip sync with the voices of the main actors from the show.
Perform the Tasks of a CSI Detective… Collect evidence at the crime scene, dust for fingerprints ,search for items that might be related to the case, unveil hidden evidence using high-tech tools such as an Ultrasound device, a digital SLR camera, and more…, interview a variety of witnesses and suspects, utilise an improved interrogation system for more realistic character interactions, ask the right questions and use evidence collected at the crime scene to get the ultimate truth, analyze the evidence with the latest technology, DNA & chemical analysis, microscopic analysis, audio/video analysis and more…

the bit about someone inflitrating csi from the organsation only person i can think of is the fbi agent since he is the only person not in the show lol , plus they may not even have you raising suspion of your teammates , so to speak be interesting if we do

You know... this technically isn't the first CSI game where cases are connected... in *all six* of the previous games (Minus that shitty CSI:NY knock off game) at least 2 or 3 of the cases have some sort of connection

even the CSI: miami game ended with the revelation
that a judge manipulated the other 4 killers into getting rid of people they wanted to kill
so technically this is the second CSI: game to have 5 interconnected cases... but this time we knew about the connection from the beginning :)

P.S. also worth noting along those lines... *five* of the six previous csi games (CSI:1, Dark Motives, Miami, TDOM, and deadly intent) all had some sort of criminal mastermind/serial killer as an uber villain of sorts at the end
