I'm trying to purchase the Tales of Monkey Island Deluxe Edition using PayPal - is it possible to do so when you're registered in PayPal through a bank account and not a credit card? 'Cause when I try, all that shows up is "To complete payment, add a debit or credit card to your PayPal account." (well, it shows up in Spanish, but I'm translating roughly).

I had the same problem with PayPal when I was trying to purchase Monkey Island 1&2 on D2D. (I'm from Poland).
I haven't got a credit card so I just bought the games somewhere else but.. I'm afraid in this case it's imposible.

I think that for some reasons companies in few countries want you to pay by credit card for particular games. I don't now why and it's just weird but.. it is.

I don't know about other countries, but from Germany it works via PayPal with a linked and confirmed bank account.

Make sure you have it confirmed through your bank account. It'll ask you to confirm your bank account.

Don't know what the deal is here but I just tried to place an order and pay with a paypal account that had my bank account and a credit card only. When I went to pay with paypal it chose my credit card to pay with. So I hit change payment type and it told me that this retailer (telltale games) does not accept "e-check" payments (money straight out of your account). So, I had to go to paypal and add my debit card as a credit card and then come back to pay. When I did this, it now shows that telltale games does accept e-check payments. So maybe you just have to have a debit card linked to your account in order to pay straight out of your account. Seems kinda strange but it worked and I didn't have to put it on a credit card so I'm fine with it.
