Retrospective: The Curse of Monkey Island

edited October 2010 in Tales of Monkey Island
There's an article written on the EuroGamer website that looks back at old games, this edition being The Curse of Monkey Island, written by a person who originally hated the game. It's actually a good article, he explains why he didn't like the game, about the changes, his views on certain puzzles and the art. No mention of Music though, and one of his biggest complaints being the lack of an ending (which us hardcore Monkey Island fans know about, damn deadlines). Anyway, you can read it Here.

Good article, I read it earlier today. I'd be interested to hear more of his thoughts on Escape after replaying it.

Not even a mention of the interactive song "A Pirate I Was Meant to Be" either, even though the song was only in the English-language version of the game. Even the reviewer still thinks that Guybrush and LeChuck "are brothers" in the twisted ending for Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. Weird. :p

Maybe it's because I'm still tired, but that article bored me...
