Weekly Wiki: Marquis De Singe
Right guys, coinciding with the Tales of Monkey Island Blog post - I thought I'd let you all know that De Singe has been chosen as this week's 'Weekly Wiki' by the pirates over at the ToMI Blog, meaning that our week of MIwiki editing will be focused mostly around the Marquis De Singe.
We all remember De Singe as the
crazy, make-up wearing, limb-lopping, wind-dictating antagonist located on Flotsam Island. He was first met by Guybrush in Chapter 1 of Tales of Monkey Island - 'Launch of the Screaming Narwahl'. From that moment forward, De Singe became obsessed with getting his hands on Guybrush's hand - hiring pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay to hunt him down after Guybrush escaped the doctor's clutches. De Singe eventually takes possession of Guybrush's hand, extracting the essence of the pox coursing through it in order to create an elixir to grant him eternal life. Ironically, De Singe dies in the end...
Anyway, is there a piece of vital information about De Singe missing from the wiki page? Well, go over and edit it in then! It doesn't even have to be vital information - it can be random, relatively useless information (just so long as it's legitimate and related). So get editing, and expand that page!
