S&M Ep. 3: Casino Theme Song

edited March 2007 in Sam & Max
I saw that the theme music for the Casino was released on the S&M page. Is there any chance that the theme song heard at the credits and from the creepy talking bear heads could be released? It is perhaps the best thing I've ever heard.

    I totally agree with that.
Jared, Dave, Brendan, Jeff, Steve... whoever is responsible for that song (and for the whole incredible soundtrack) has my blessing. :D

Yep, we've had more than a few requests for this. :)

I haven't heard the song, but I am looking forward to it after hearing how good it is.

I'm sure after it is available to everyone tomorrow, you'll be flooded with requests for it to be an MP3. :D If you aren't already, that is.

We'll be giving you more MP3s as soon as possible. The sound guys at BASound are pretty swamped wrapping episode 4 right now, but when they get a free moment I'll poke at them until MP3s come out.

Whoa... you can just go around poking those guys and MP3s pop out? Good party trick! :D

It's kinda gross though, not for the squeamish.

The web guys all sort of hide in one corner of the office in our own little world. It may seem funny, but it's actually terrible. I can feel my brain dissolving.

I think episode 3 has the best music so far, and want that song.

We must have at least three new tracks coming... I hope to have of course ending credits, but all the score (ambiance music, not just "tidouguidoum pchimp" when you do the right thing :p) is so huge...
I'm really happy to see that music take a very important part of the game :)

Maybe a soundtrack avalaible for Season CD ^^

Or maybe a separate CD included with the Season CD that features the soundtrack!!

I finally heard that song eveyone was praising, and it has got to be the quirkest thing since the "King of the Creatures" bit from HTR I've ever heard. Strangely enough, it has the same humor as some of the musical numbers from Family Guy, but that's just my opinion.

Great stuff! I hope to hear more songs from the future from the sound labs, especially if they are as good as this one and the Soda Popper's theme!

They can't release the song yet, ahead of time since it will spoil the surprise in the actual game :)

This office isn't very big. If I look out the window built into the side of my box, I can see Daniel just a few feet away. Sometimes I watch him ...

All I can see is the targeting reticle Nick drew on the window in dry erase marker. Hmm...

I need the lyrics to that ending credits song too.. lol.
It's so disturbingly catchy that I just need to know!

(I can decipher most of it, but there's a few lines I can't figre out)

I'm fairly sure you get the entire lyrics, subtitles and all, just by
clicking the bear heads six times
    .
  • edited February 2007
    oops.. you're right. I turn subtitles off, so I forgot. I'm a retard. :)

You can easily extract all the songs by yourself. check out http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2141

Download the software and convert the .aud music files in /[episode name] data/Pack/data to ogg. Ogg can easily be played by Winamp(full version) and other media players. Also, Ogg can easily be converted to Mp3, if you really, REALLY want to. Just keep in mind that Ogg is of better quality than Mp3's.

And... Again, Emily, Jake, if you want me to remove this software, let me know, and i will do so pronto. I do not wish to make you mad or anything, i just thought it would be nice to be able to hear all the brilliant music in a normal audio player.
