Can I get the free DVDs if I purchased Sam and Max 3 via Steam?

I want a free Season 3 DVD, but since I bought the game through Steam, the Telltale website doesn't believe I own it (for obvious reasons).

Is the free DVD offer open to Steam customers? And if it is, what evidence do I need to prove I own the game? Do I have to send screenshots? Email addresses? Credit card details?

    You can only get the free disc if you bought the game directly from us.
