'issue-39714' - Misunderstood W&G Offer

Hi Telltale,

I added the W&G digital edition to my cart and added the code that Telltale game us on another thread which made it completely free. Seeing as it didn't seem like I had to add anything else to my order I went ahead with the order and it gave me W&G for free in 'My Games'. I was overjoyed and then ordered the W&G DVD edition as well, which seemed to have free shipping and I also was charged only $0.00 for. I then downloaded the 1st episode to play and left the other 3 sitting in my games list. I then find the next day that they have all disappeared. I have read a similar thread about this problem, but is there any way that Telltale would understand my problem and return the four aforementioned games to my account? I am a regular and devoted Telltale user and I would happy to order something for this problem to be solved.

Thanks and Hope you understand,

    I wouldn't count on it:
Yesterday's deal of getting a free copy of Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures Retail DVD for free, as stated in the promotion's banner, was only free with a purchase. For that reason, orders with nothing but the DVD or the game for free in the cart were automatically cancelled since they were not in line with what the original offer was. As an example of how this was taken advantage of, there were a number orders with 10 or more 'Gift' codes for the game made at a time and multiple DVDs being sent on the same order - all for free.

We'll be working to refund orders that may have $0.01 cent or similar amounts charged to them.

    Apologies for any confusion.

I never gave anyone a code for just free stuff: once again- Wallace and Gromit was never free from the start, the banner read: Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures Retail DVD FREE with any purchase! (regularly $19.95)

Free Shipping with any purchase over $50.

If you didn't have something else in your cart and didn't buy anything else today the order canceled itself.

I gave our forum members the code so it would force add, but many people decided to abuse this which didn't matter because our system deleted those orders.

If you didn't abide the rules of the sale you are not going to get anything.
