Although it's just a short flash game, I think you should check it out. It reminded me of oldschool adventures, and it has Cartoon Network characters Perhaps it will be inspiring for someone's own game project.

This is definitely an older game. I remember a bunch of these mini adventure games being put out by Cartoon Network that were totally badass.

I went through the trouble of getting shockwave to work under linux just to play that game a while ago.

What about the one, with all the different Cartoon Network characters on a beach, and they give you kind of like, adventure quests? I loved that game. I believe there was a resort(and possibly the word Resort in the name) and there was a giant tennis-playing mech(I believe Dexter built it).

I personally wish someone created a Cartoon Network-based classic adventure with inventory, GUI, etc. For example, say, Kids Next Door would've been an awesome theme for a Lucas-styled game.
