Marty and Jennifer

When you talk to Doc in the prison, he mentions seeing Marty and Jennifer in 2011. Maybe it's just an off-handed remark but wouldn't it be nice to see Michael J. Fox pop up, even briefly, to play a grown up Marty McFly? The possibility for it has definitely been set up.

You know about his condition, right?

It's probably hinting at seeing Jennifer during another episode though, yeah...

But I would not imagine he will be doing this game...

I do like the idea of him doing an older version briefly that would be pretty damn cool.

Ooh, I hope we visit 2011, it would be awesome to see Marty's reaction to the present day. :D Even better if he comments on how different to 2015 it is.

Ok, you have obviously NO IDEA what he has to go through, to "act".

The simple act of speaking is hell for him. No offense to TTG, but BTTF : the game isn't really worth the trouble.

I hadn't heard whether Parkinson's Disease affected speech or not. You should tell us a little about that, help us to understand what he's going through. Maybe we misunderstand Parkinson's or maybe he's going through additional health concerns.

One day I plan on finding a cure for Parkinsons! Same thing with cancer and diabetes.

Parkinson's is a neurological disorder. It begins by messing with a person's motor control, leading to the first noticeable symptoms, the uncontrollable shakes. As the disease progresses, it becomes harder to control with medication. I would assume that since it's a neurological disorder, it would eventually degrade the ability to speak.

As for Michael J Fox, he's said in his autobiographies that acting is his first love. Unfortunately, he just can't do it as well any more. I can't imagine it was very easy for him to even come in to record some lines.

And as for CURING Parkinson's, the MJF Foundation was started for precisely that reason. Not like some of those other foundations out there that only some of the money goes to research. Unfortunately, the most viable solution is blocked to them. However, I don't want to get into that because some people have problems with progress.

Michael J. Fox is an inspiration. He doesn't let his illness beat him. He still acts and reasonably well. I have seen him a few things recently and he did a great job. The fact that he has agreed to do voice work for episode 5, considering he has problems with his speech is just incredible.
With respect to MJ, continue to live your life to the fullest and lets hope there's a cure someday.

I was bored at work a while back and we had a copy of his book Always Looking Up on the shelves and I read that. Really eye opening.

I recently read Lucky Man and I loved it. He's truly an amazing writer and his optimism is inspiring.

    Back to OP....

It's funny cause, knowing what we do know about MJF and Claudia Wells being in the game, that when you look at it from a "player's" perspective, how you could take Doc's remark as talking to YOU about seeing "Marty (MJF)" and "Jennifer (Claudia Wells)" in 2011 in relation to the year the episodes debut and the same year that both actors debut in the game. It's funny cause it's like super foreshadowing, yet Telltale hadn't even GOTTEN MJF yet for the part, judging by their words in the Ep.5 DD. Or they did, and they never told us, and it WAS super foreshadowing.
