On the boat

I know I need to use the chuck plant root but it doesn't appear on the screen so I can't get Guy there. Any suggestions?

    Move towards the plant.
    Seeing that this is your first message on the forum, maybe you're new to Telltale games. Their latest games don't have the classic point&click control.
    So keep in mind that you can move using WASD or click and draw towards objects that aren't currently on the screen.
