I mean, there's a semi-plot in the movie where a female hippo (which Tycho sees as corpulent brigands) tries dating a male hippo. But a male giraffe (the hippo's elegant ungulate sisters) is in love with the hippo.

I bet he probably likes the giraffe more in the movie.

    The giraffe thing is a reference to this strip.

    Why should he like it? Because there are giraffes and hippos in it?

    That's like asking if Hugh Hefner likes "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" just because it has women in it.
