    How popular was Sam and max back in the day? I think maybe the team considered making a new series (I'm guessing) but I'm not sure if the tv stations of today would run with it ;(

    they are saying season 1 and 2 are like tv seasons and 3 seems like a feature film

    Yeah, my friend told me exactly this. And I think it's intentional judging by the movie imagery used in the game itself (the film grain!) and in all the promo material.

    Yeah, you can say that ... yeah ... YES! You're right!
    Devils playhouse doesn't fit with the first 2 seasons at all ... both style-wise and story-wise and gameplay-wise ... and it feels like a movie not a series of episodes ...
