Lagging - Slow

I have just started playing the game (Ep.1) and I am encountering lagging and slowness. The music and vocals are perfect. But the movement of the mouse is horrible. Can I do something to make it better? I have 8gb of Ram but still have this problem.

Any suggestions?
Btw. What is Anti-Aliasing?

    Try turning down the graphics quality settings. If that doesnt work, turn down the screen resolution. Also, I believe that Anti-Aliasing is a graphical ability to make curved edges more smooth so there aren't any jagged edges to give the game a bit more polish.

    Yes, turn everything down. You may also try a disc defragmentation. Also if you're really bad off don't run it full screen. I am playing the game on a lap top, lowest quality settings works great. :)
